FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  What is SOLID KNOCK! / e-SKore’s unique proposition?

A:  Actually, there are five:

 
  1. DATA BASE MANAGEMENT:  SOLID KNOCK! will provide data management services that will permit coaching staffs for the first time to be able to systematically and efficiently manage prospect inquiries. 
  2. INTRODUCTIONS: Prospects and Programs will be introduced with each other’s unique, personal attributes, character traits and personality qualities, as provided through our proprietary SK 4-P’s system.  Our system will provide insightful information regarding each SK participating Head Coach’s philosophies, preferences, priorities and prerequisites.  Reciprocal, current information will be gathered and made available for each SK participating Prospect.   
  3. MATCHED RECOMMENDATIONS:  Personal priorities, prerequisites and preferences will be collected from Programs and Prospects.  By comparing the respective responses, potential, recommended “best fit” opportunities will be identified. 
  4. STATUS/UPDATES COMMUNICATION:  Channels of communication will be opened with all Prospects; along with a private, communication channel option for select Prospects. 
  5. NEUTRAL FACILITATOR:  SOLID KNOCK! will operate as a completely neutral facilitator between all constituencies and advocates within each sport’s community.    

Q.  How will Prospects and their families benefit from SOLID KNOCK! / e-SKore.com’s services?

A.   In a myriad of ways: Primarily, as an invaluable, neutral, trustworthy, pertinent information provider and referral resource. We will provide a first contact introduction; then facilitate the ensuing interactions amongst all involved constituencies. We will also provide a Prospect Dashboard to enable Prospects to better manage their recruitment activities.

Q.   Will SOLID KNOCK! / e-SKore.com utilize skill and athletic performance data as part of its services?

A.  Yes.  We will utilize performance indices submitted by the Prospects; along with information sourced from neutral, competent, trustworthy third parties.

Q.  What will it cost to utilize SOLID KNOCK!’s services?

A.   To be determined contingent upon the successful implementation of the benefits and functionality first described above.

Q.  Will Prospect advocates also be incorporated into SOLID KNOCK!’s vision?

A.  Yes.  SOLID KNOCK! currently has separate, distinct programs in the planning and development stage to assist Parents', Travel Coaches' and Recruiting Services' involvement.

Q.  When will the e-SKore site become fully functional?

A.  2021. The SK site/our service is being developed in three distinct phases: PHASE ONE: Data gathering and management; PHASE TWO: Matching and communication facilitation and PHASE THREE: Add-on Services. A Central Region, softball Beta test will be conducted in 2020.

Q.  Will SOLID KNOCK! be doing other sports in addition to softball – if yes, when?

A.  Yes. Our anticipated roll-out schedule is provided on the respective Men’s & Women’s sports' site pages.

Q.  Why is softball being done first?

A.  Softball is the sport that our site developers are most familiar with and through certain strategic relationships, softball provides the best opportunity to conduct our Central Region Beta test. Independent consultant coaches have been contracted to adapt the SOLID KNOCK! system for other sports.

Q.   What is the receptiveness of the collegiate sports’ governing bodies, athletic directors and college coaches regarding SOLID KNOCK!’s initiative?

A. Their responses are as follows:

 
  1. GOVERNING BODIES – We have conducted multiple conversations and meetings with the various college sports’ governing bodies.  All have expressed support; but no official endorsements have been solicited or received. 
  2. COACHES – After the Beta test, it is anticipated that the various coaching associations for the respective sports will be individually approached and their membership solicited to assist with the continuing development and introduction of SOLID KNOCK! / e.SKore.com  
  3. ATHLETIC DIRECTORS – Athletic Directors will likewise be provided status updates, as programs from their institutions might elect to participate; subject to their athletic department’s approvals and SOLID KNOCK! intends to involve the Athletic Directors’ association(s) in our future efforts.
